“Does it cost more for a bespoke Farrow & Ball colour in solid wood kitchens?” Question of the Week 26.04.15
“Does it cost more for a bespoke Farrow & Ball colour in solid wood kitchens?”
Our first ever ‘Question of the Week’ was sent in by Hayley, who lives in Chippenham. She is looking to order solid oak kitchen components from us, and wants to know whether we charge more for painting our oak kitchen doors and drawer fronts in bespoke Farrow & Ball colours.
QUESTION:
“I’m interested in ordering painted oak frontals from you, but want to select a bespoke Farrow & Ball colour. Do you charge more for this service? Thank you in advance.”
ANSWER:
Hi Hayley,
Thanks for contacting us.
Our pre-selected Farrow & Ball colours are chosen as the perfect shades for complementing solid wood kitchens, but they are only a guide. We can offer any of the shades in Farrow & Ball’s range at no additional cost.
Our ‘Pastel’ range constitutes our most popular shades – ideal for all kinds of kitchens. This range features the bright All White, creamy hues of New White and Farrow’s Cream, as well as the darker tones of Cord and Mizzle.
The ‘Accents’ range of Farrow & Ball paints features more striking colours that are perfect for cabinet frontals. This selection is made up of cool blues, subtle greens and light greys, such as Parma Gray, Elephant’s Breath and Vert De Terre.
Lastly, our ‘Strong Accents’ collection features bold hues that add a real splash of colour to any kitchen, and are the ideal for combining with modern worktop timbers in a contemporary kitchen. Colour choices include the steely grey of Plummett or the deep red of Blazer, and for an ultra-modern high-contrast kitchen, why not consider Pitch Black?
Of course, if you think none of these colours will suit your kitchen, or you have your heart set on another shade, just let us know. Farrow & Ball offers 132 fabulous colours that include high levels of pigment, rich resin binders and an unrivalled depth of colour. We paint each oak frontal in our own facility, and hand finish each frontal to create a smooth, luxurious appearance.
If you require any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Kind Regards,
The Team @ Solid Wood Kitchen Cabinets
