“If I order painted cabinets, do I have to have them all painted the same colour?” Question of the Week 29.09.2017
“If I order painted cabinets, do I have to have them all painted the same colour?”
This week, our customer question has been sent in by Caoimhe in Harrow, who has a question about our bespoke cabinet doors.
QUESTION:
“If I order your bespoke painted cabinets, do they all need to be the same colour? I have seen a lot of two-tone kitchens and I am considering choosing two different shades – one for wall units and one for base units.”
ANSWER:
Hello Caoimhe,
Thank you for getting in touch with your question – the look you are talking about is generally referred to as ‘tuxedo cabinets’ and it is a style that has been increasing in popularity over the last year.
When ordering painted cabinet doors from us, you can select any colour you like, and you are not limited in how many different options you can select. All you need to do is make sure you choose the correct colours when you go through the ordering process. We have a guide with instructions for how to buy kitchen doors if you need any help, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you do need any further assistance.
As you have said ‘painted cabinets’ in your question, to clarify, our bespoke paint options are for the kitchen doors only – we do not paint the unit itself, as it is hidden behind the door and is more likely to chip quickly due to the kind of use it will likely be subjected to.
We would love to see a picture of your two-tone kitchen complete with tuxedo cabinets when you have fitted it – please feel free to send us pictures, or tag us in images on Facebook or Instagram.
Kind regards,
The Team @ Solid Wood Kitchen Cabinets
