Beech is a distinctive timber, known for its warm hue and characterful grain pattern. Our 300mm beech floating shelf is immensely hard-wearing, and comes pre-drilled ready for mounting. Specialist fixings are also provided, to create the enviable floating effect.

This beech shelf has been made by our talented team of wood specialists, harnessing their extensive knowledge of timber, the latest technology and a passion for solid wood products. Once cut to size, the shelves are sanded to a smooth 150 grit finish, and given three coats of protective wood oil to preserve and nourish the beautiful grain.

Our floating shelves come with all the fittings required to allow for straightforward installation.

Measuring 300mm X 200mm X 40mm, this floating solid beech shelf comes with a square edge profile that enhances its chunky, contemporary style. Just like our solid beech worktops, these shelves are made from a collection of wooden staves, which are finger-jointed and glued under high pressure to form a strong bond.

Our beech floating shelves are provided with two shelf supports, which are hidden once the shelving is installed. We strongly recommend installing shelves onto a brick or concrete block wall, if possible. If you would prefer to mount your shelf on a partition wall, we suggest fixing the supports directly into the timber studs for maximum stability.

Real wood is full of natural, characterful facets; for this reason, our timber floating shelves may occasionally feature small knots or splits. These are natural developments which do not affect the integrity of the wood.
