Walnut is a beautiful timber with a hard-wearing surface and characterful grain pattern. This walnut floating shelf comes with pre-drilled holes, ready to be wall-mounted using the supplied 'invisible' shelf fixings.

Our talented team of solid wood specialists created with eye-catching walnut shelf using the latest manufacturing techniques, to ensure maximum precision. Once the wood has been cut to size, each shelf is meticulously sanded to a 150 grit finish, and then oiled to seal and enrich the attractive natural wood grain.

Our floating shelves come with all the fittings required to allow for straightforward installation.

This floating solid walnut shelf measures 300mm X 200mm X 40mm and comes with a square edge profile, which offers a chunky, modern aesthetic. This shelving is crafted using an array of 40mm-wide solid wood staves, which are finger-jointed, glued and bonded under high pressure — this method ensures maximum strength and is how we create our beautiful walnut worktops. A combination of pale sapwood and dark heartwood make the striking contrasting effect between staves.

This walnut floating shelf is provided with two specialist brackets, which are best-suited for fixing on a stone or brick wall. If you would prefer to mount your shelf on a stud partition wall, we advise fixing the brackets directly into the wooden studs for maximum stability.

These real wood shelves are made from organic material and therefore may sometimes feature small knots or splits, which — though rare — only serve to enhance their natural appeal.
