Five Simple Steps to Delivery Solid Oak Kitchen Cabinets
At Solid Wood Kitchen Cabinets, we offer a variety of delivery options in order to get your kitchen components to you quickly and safely, so that you don’t have to wait too long to create one of our solid oak kitchens.
Most of mainland England is served by a next-day service from our own delivery team, whose range is increasing all the time thanks to the opening (or imminent opening) of new delivery depots in the East and North of England.
If you’re looking for more information on our delivery options, then read on…
Step One: Choose Your Kitchen Components
First, you will need to decide which cabinets will make up the core of your beautiful new wooden kitchen. We have a wide range of cabinet sizes and heights, along with specialist cabinets to add unique kitchen storage options
Once you have decided upon your cabinets, you’ll also want to choose matching door frontals to finish your cabinets in style. They’re available in a natural finish or painted in a colour of your choice.
Once you’ve chosen your required components, add them to your shopping cart and head to the checkout.
Step Two: Arrange Delivery
Wherever you live in the UK, we have a delivery option that can get your solid wood kitchen cabinets to you in a timely fashion.
Most of deliveries of our oak kitchen cabinets are made by our in-house delivery team, but for destinations further afield we also use a third-party courier.
If you’d like to discuss the delivery options further with a sales adviser, then you can choose the ‘call us to arrange delivery’ option at the checkout.
Step Three: Await Confirmation of Delivery
Once you have placed your order, you will receive confirmation via email which details all the items in your order.
You will then be called to organise a suitable date for your delivery to be arranged.
Cabinet deliveries are made within 15 working days to the UK mainland for standard cabinets, whilst cabinets with painted frontals will take up to 14 days to arrive.
Step Four: The Delivery Is Dispatched
The day before your order is due to be delivered, our warehouse team pick your order, which is then loaded on to one of our delivery vans, ready for delivery the following day.
We use specialist software to determine the most appropriate and economical route for our drivers to take, in order to save on fuel, and deliver your order in a timely fashion.
Step Five: Your Delivery Arrives
The time has come – your delivery is here! If you have chosen to have your goods via our in-house two-man delivery team, they will transport your ordered items to a ground-floor room of your choosing.
Please ensure that their path through your house is free of obstruction, and do remember that they are not able to go up or down stairs whilst carrying the goods (for health and safety reasons).
Should you require, they’ll also take away any packaging and you’ll be asked to sign to say that you are happy with the items delivered.
That’s it – now you have the products, it’s time to undertake the exciting job of installing them! Don’t forget to share a picture of your finished kitchen with us either on Facebook, Twitter, or Google Plus – we’d love to hear from you.
